'Oarsome' adventures!

Warm June evenings serve as the perfect backdrop for water sports adventures on the Marine Lake.

No matter the season, the lake is a popular sport for paddleboarding, kayaking, and sailing, but the late spring and summer is our favourite time to take to the water.

Hike the Sefton Coastal Path

The dramatic landscapes of the Sefton Coast are waiting to be explored this June.

Beaches, pinewoods, and golden sand dunes.  Red squirrels and natterjack toads.  Walking, cycling, kite surfing, and more.

Keen walkers can spend a day hiking the 21-mile Sefton Coastal Path, which weaves through the sandy marshes and woodlands between Crossens and Crosby.

If that all seems like too much hard work...make the most of the coast by cycling one section of the path, birdwatching at RSPB Marshide, or squirrel-spotting at Formby.
