Top new card game celebrates Southport's rich history

The Southport Townscape Heritage trump cards are now available to buy!

The new card game focuses on 50 historic landmarks and architectural gems from Southport and the surrounding areas.

Southport Townscape Heritage Project have created the cards through funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The Heritage Project team took to social media to ask locals to to nominate interesting buildings, before selecting a final list to feature.

Landmarks such as Wayfarers Arcade, The Atkinson, and Southport Pier are featured in pack, as are the town's famous venetian bridges and shelters.

"We've created a unique deck of cards featuring 50 intriguing buildings, chosen to represent as many aspects of Southport's history as we can cram in.

"You’ll be able to hold Southport’s history in your hands and challenge your friends to a game."
