Raise a glass to the return of Southport Summer Whisky Festival

The much-loved Southport Summer Whisky Festival is back for 2025!

Taking place in Southport town centre on Saturday 5 July, the event will see rare and special edition whisky pouring at seven locations in the town centre.

The seven venues will each host representatives from some of the best UK distilleries, including Tomatin, Ardnamurchan Distillery, and Henstone.  Experts will be on hand at each venue to introduce and explain the various whiskies available.

Starting at The Guesthouse at 13:00, people can collect their glass and a trail map, before visiting each participating venue to sample a range of fine drams before the 17:00 deadline.

Organise Victor Porter from Southport Whisky Club said : "This year's Southport Whisky Festival is set to be the best yet!

"Having the festival spread across multiple venues let's people stretch their legs between drams and visit some of the best bars and pubs in Southport.

"Once again we have exhibitors brining their own range of superb whiskeys that you would not normally get to try.

Tickets, which include all drinks and Glencairn glass to keep, are available via Southport Whisky.
