Sunday 15th March is the perfect chance to spoil the special women in our lives. If you’re planning a trip into Southport town centre, a little Sunday shopping, a springtime coastal walk, or even a few cocktails are all lovely ideas, but we’re focusing on the best places for a Mother’s Day meal.

The Office Bar and Restaurant
Crispy lamb fritters, slow cooked pork belly, salmon, risotto, coconut panna cotta...what more could a Mum want!
The Office is a fantastic option for spend Mother's Day and the food never disappoints. The special Mother's Day menu includes two courses for £27.50 and three courses for £35.00. There's also a special kids menu too.
The Windmill
The Windmill's Mother's Day menu features well know pub-food classics and delicious desserts.
The Seabank Road pub is a social and neighbourly place to spend a relaxed Mother's Day. Two courses for £22 and three courses for £26 represents excellent value too.
Penelope's on the Park
A Mother's Day treat. Choose from two courses for £42.50 or three courses for £47.50. A complimentary welcome drink for each guest is a lovely touch for the Mum's out there.
Penelope's special menu includes four Sunday Roast options, alongside Mediterranean-inspired plates, decadent salads, and fresh fish dishes.
Southport Waterfront Hotel
Treat Mum to something special at The Waterfront. Enjoy afternoon tea, a complimentary glass of fizz, plus live music from celebrated performer Tricia McTeague. All to be enjoyed with spectacular views over the Sefton Coast in the background.
£35 per adult. £17.50 per child (under 12)
Auberge
One of Southport's long stand local favourites. Enjoy Auberge on Mother's Day with a three course set menu for £32 per person.
There's also a floral gift for all the special Mum's in attendance!
The Grand Brasserie
What better setting for a special occasion than the opulence of The Grand. Show-stopping roasts are the focal point of their Mother's Day menu, amongst a choice of modern takes on classic dishes.
Two course set menu for £31, three courses for £36.
Mother's Day activities
The Vincent are hosting a special Mother's Day edition of their popular Sip and Paint. A glass of fizz on arrival is followed by a relaxed, guided painting session.
Over at The Grand, there's the unmissable Mamma Mia The Party. A feel-good ABBA-inspired afternoon complete with dancing, singing and a delicious two-course meal included.
If you're looking for space for a quieter catch up, Market Street's Season Coffee, Bar, & Kitchen are offering Mum's a free coffee with all food and/or cake.
If a trip to the cinema is your thing, indie picture house Southport Bijou are hosting a mid-afternoon showing of the hilarious and heart-warming Little Miss Sunshine.
